The production works of COPELVAGE are located in Comines (France). In former times, this region in the north of France was well-known for the twine weaving Industry. 
In 1988 horizont took over the COPELVAGE company and made it one of the biggest manufacturer world-wide for tapes, cords and ropes for the electric-fencer industry.
Tapes and cords for electric fencing are produced by twisting monofilament yarns with the conductor material made of copper or Nirosta.
Another production method is to weave the monofilament yarns and conductor material to tapes and ropes.
The final products are being spooled onto big cable rolls, later being cut to standard length.
We also provide customized products as concerns the length, colour, quality and price of tapes and cords.
